It is Essex Police's intention to co-locate with Essex Fire and rescue Service at their existing Harwich and Dovercourt Fire Station. Essex Police wishes to proceed with the development and construction of a new 2 storey stand alone bespoke Police Station for use exclusively by Essex Police. Works will also include the demolition of an existing domestic property at the site and creation of a secure compound with parking and electrical generator. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to identify and engage a construction consultant for this project, as described in the Consultant Brief document attached. Please download the attached Consultant Brief and the Requirements document for further details, including how to express your interest and submit your proposal. It is recognised that a short turnaround for responses is requested - this is due to the festive period and the timescales for the project. Should this timescale not be achievable for providing your response, please notify the Authority at the earliest opportunity and prior to the deadline to request any extension.
