DYNAMIC PURCHASING SYSTEM - 942-22 HIGHWAYS MATERIALS
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking applications from potential suppliers to be admitted to the Council's new dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for the Supply of Highways Materials.
This DPS may be utilised by other local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region, as advertised. Any such requirements will be requested as and when the needs arise.
It is intended that this DPS will be in place for 10 years with a spend of up to £121m and will be the main procurement vehicle for the Council’s Highways Material requirements.
A DPS is a completely electronic system used to purchase commonly used goods, works or services. Unlike a traditional framework, suppliers can join the DPS at any time and is designed to provide access to a pool of pre-qualified suppliers that can be continually refreshed.
This DPS is divided into categories of products (product lots) and suppliers may apply to be included on any or all of the product lots. Details of the product lots are provided below:
