HSC-ONCBI - Oxygen & Nebulisers for Community Based Individuals
The States of Guernsey, through the Committee for Employment & Social Security, require the provision of oxygen and nebulisers in the community. Currently oxygen is provided in large cylinders, small portable cylinders and by oxygen concentrators. Some individuals will be on both oxygen and a nebuliser and most using portables will also have a concentrator or large cylinders. To clarify, this element is the core of this tender and the only element that will be scored and awarded at this stage.
In addition, the States of Guernsey, through the Committee for Health & Social Care, currently further provide a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) service for community based individuals and are also looking at options to introduce a Non- Invasive Ventilation service.
These services would include patients based in Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Jethou.
As part of this current tender process, HSC are looking to gather information from the marketplace regarding the provision of such services.
