MED2092 - Provision of manual blood grouping and red cell antibody screening and identification equipment, reagents and consumables (controls) for the period 01st April 2020 - 31st March 2025 +12m+12m

Supply of manual blood grouping and red cell antibody screening and identification equipment, reagents and consumables (controls). Methodology used must be direct agglutination for blood grouping and indirect antiglobulin testing for red cell antibody screening. Bidders are requested to provide responses in the form of: 1. capital purchase & consumable 2. reagent rental/lease proposals Full delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment is required prior to 27.03.2020. Following this initial procurement, the Trust may consider at a later stage adding this contract into an existing Managed Service contract, and it’s asking bidders to advise if this would present any issues with the proposals submitted. The contract period is to be for a period of minimum 5 years with an anticipated start date of 01.04.2020, and with an option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year each. The estimated value of the annual reagent contract is £43,000
