Appointment of a research agency to undertake ad hoc qualitative market research. The market research to be provided on a call off basis with no specific level of work guaranteed. The service provider will need to be able to conduct qualitative market research to support NS&I in: • product development; • understanding of consumer’s attitudes and financial behaviours; • segment understanding; • communications testing and development; • advertising development; • marketing activity development; and • brand development. Agencies should have a background in conducting financially related qualitative research, specifically in the area of savings. The agencies and/or key staff who would work on the NS&I Account should be members of the Market Research Society (MRS).
