ESPO Framework 98 - The Provision of Portable Kitchens

Property Services Operational Support Group of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) require year round for the hire and supply of portable (Field Type Cabin) kitchens and their associated equipment, (here-in named “Portable Kitchens”) for operations and events. Requirements for large national events with specific venues are sometimes known in advance, but on occasions, urgent responses will be requested for the hire and erection of equipment at short notice. Production Type Kitchens, Dishwashing Units, Pot wash, Preparation kitchens, Mobile kitchens, Mobile Canopies, Island Canopies, Cold-stores, Cold rooms and refrigeration stores / equipment, combined with modular link units where required, these all form part of this requirement. Generally, the kitchens and ancillary items will be required to be positioned in specific locations that are either on MPS property or on hired rented grounds, for example private playing fields, schools etc. at defined times within an approximate 25 mile radius of Central London and the M25 boundary. The contractor will be given adequate access to allow erection of kitchens and ancillary items. However there may be rare occasions where services are required nationally outside the M25 boundary.
