Crowndale Centre Works (JCT Design & Build Contract)

Works to include refurbished temporary, but functional, accommodation for Council services moving from the Town Hall. The accommodation requirements for Crowndale include the following: • Council chamber, the same size as existing, with access for the public • Foyer space for gathering and functions • 5 committee rooms, the same size as existing • Accommodation for members, including small group rooms • Leader’s office • Support offices for cabinet and members • Mayor’s Parlour • Register office (for births and deaths) including meeting rooms, reception area and back office (the marriage suite is going to be placed elsewhere).
