DWP Voucher Scheme

North Yorkshire County Council will receive an allocation of £3,537,549.92. The timing of the announcement and the public expectation that the scheme will be available for applications means that prompt action is necessary to deliver the scheme as soon as possible. North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) are utilising £1.8m of the Household Support Fund grant received from the DWP to provide support to vulnerable households with children through the provision of supermarket vouchers. Two payments of £125/payment will be made, with the first payment in early December 2021 and the second payment in early February 2022. NYCC is seeking to procure a solution to distribute the supermarket voucher support to approx. 8000 households during the period 1st December 2021 to 31st March 2022.
