The quote/tender has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

This contract relates to the Charging Arrangements for all frontline appliance vehicle batteries at all Fire Stations for the West Midlands Fire & Rescue Authority. Chargers currently comprise of a wall-mounted 24/12v auto-sensing battery charger, fixed cabling installation, free-hanging charging cable & plug connecting to the reciprocal socket, fixed wiring & 24v or 12v batteries on the vehicle, as required. Following review of the current arrangements & discussions with other services & subject matter technical experts, the following proposals are made: We propose to replace all wall-mounted battery chargers with installation of a 110V dropdown Power supply to Facilitate Fire Engine (Appliance) charging. The infrastructure changes at each site would need to support the new and old charging arrangements whilst there is a mix of charging standards across the fleet. Once the fleet is fully converted the old charging arrangements can be removed Full details can be found in the Specification (Appendix 2)
