WCST01.25 - WSTLAT Provision of Supply Agency Services

This collaborative tender opportunity has been issued by Westcountry Schools Trust and Learning Academies Trust (the Trust). The proposed contracts will be for the provision of supply agency services to the Trust where cover cannot be provided in-house. The service is intended to provide access to safe, compliant and good quality agency workers when required, while supporting the Trust’s objectives of continuity of provision, safeguarding compliance, operational flexibility and value for money. The Trusts have divided this tender into Lots to reflect the involvement of two separate Trusts and the different geographical areas in which the service will be delivered. The Trust predominantly requires short-term supply cover where absence or operational need cannot be covered in-house. There may also be occasions where longer-term supply cover is required, including to support extended absence, vacancy cover or continuity of provision. The Trust intends to award four (4) separate contracts following evaluation of tenders for each Lot. 13. The contracts will be for a period of three (3) years, with the possible extension of two (2) further years in 12-month intervals (3 + 1 + 1).
