The Contract will include all food and staff provision to support the delivery of the service requirement and to include the following in their service offer: a. Census day menus b. Open evening events c. Sustainability options/strategic net zero decisions d. Theme days linked to world events e. Hospitality and events f. Servicing and Remedial Repairs of the Catering Equipment. The Contractor shall: a. work in partnership with the Trust, offering a service that is aligned to the vision, value and ethos of the Trust, ensuring a high-quality food offering, whilst delivering value for money for schools, pupils and parents using the services and continually improving the quality and uptake of meals, particularly for FSM pupils. b. operate a standard approach across schools, a continuous drive for improvement and have appropriate practices and systems in place to ensure a suitable amount of food supply and meal choices are available throughout the service. c. have appropriate processes and procedures in place which gives assurance that individuals with food allergens, medical and dietary requirements will not be put at risk and religious cultural and SEND dietary requirements are catered for d. demonstrate a centralised contract management approach, e. operate the contract in line with School Food Standards, British, International and EU standards & legislation. f. promote environmental and social sustainability. g. provide signage and marketing for the service. h. implement a robust mobilisation plan for the contract that will demonstrate partnership working, including the responsibility for TUPE of existing staff.
