Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) is an international early help parenting programme delivered by trained Parent Group Leaders (PGLs) who are volunteers supported by Parenting Specialist within Sheffield City Councils Parenting Team. The programme helps parents learn a range of positive parenting skills, better understand children’s feelings, value effective parent-child communication and build better, more resilient family relationships.
