The provision of Independent Investigating Officer and Stage 3 Panellist Service AND Independent Person and Stage 3 Chair Service

The Council has statutory obligations in relation to the investigation of Children’s Social Care complaints under the Children Act 1989 Representations Procedure (England) Regulations 2006 to provide Independent Investigating Officers, Independent Panellists and Independent Chairs who will assist the Council in meeting its obligations under the aforementioned legislation.
