The Council requires a provider to ‘host’ and manage the platform, ensuring that Opportunity Sheffield have access to a user friendly and flexible Content Management System (CMS). It is expected that the transfer and mobilisation will take place during December 2023, in time for the commencement of the contract start date on 2nd January 2024. The contract will end March 2024. During this time the performance and success of the platform will be monitored and reviewed. This review will be used to decide whether to close down the platform at the end of March or to recommission the platform via a new tender exercise. This CMS will allow Opportunity Sheffield to add, remove and change the courses that make up the content of the platform including, but not limited to, images, URLs, links to email addresses, social media icons and videos. In addition, the CMS should also allow content to be tagged to the 8 different categories (as outlined above) on the platform to ensure posting to the appropriate categories and that this is easy to search by users. Opportunity Sheffield require access to the analysis settings in the CMS. We require the ability to evaluate the number of visitors to individual course pages within different timescales. E.g. number of visits in 1 week, 2 weeks etc.
