Dear Supplier, 

Leeds has a vibrant events calendar aimed at making Leeds a destination location for leisure and business travel which is supported by a range of delivery venues including a purpose-built arena, theatres, clubs and bars and outdoor venues such as parks.

To support this activity, Employment & Skills service is seeking to provide a pathway into the music and events industry for Leeds residents who are aspiring promoters who have experienced barriers because of a lack of experience or other circumstance. We are looking to engage knowledgeable and experienced providers to work with us to support the acquisition of relevant industry skills,  for residents of Leeds, enabling them to break down barriers, learn new knowledge and skills and turn challenging situations into positive ones. Acquisition of crucial practical experience will be supported by the opportunity to undertake industry placements.  

To achieve this, we are inviting suppliers to submit a tender for their services that show how you could design and deliver a learning opportunity for adults which combines theory and practical experience.  Successful bidders will be offered a zero-value contract, lasting until the end of the current E&S DPS (31 March 2028).

This competition is relevant to Category 2 of the Employment & Skills DPS and so will be specifically open to bidders qualified in this category. 

The window for submissions will be for two weeks, opening 2^nd November and closing 13^th November 2023.
