CBMDC76087 - The complete removal of the existing Goods/Passenger equipment in its entirety & the design, manufacture, supply & install of a new lift
The Council requires one suitably qualified and experienced Lift Contractor for the complete removal of the existing 3 stop, 10 persons, 750kg, Single Entry, Traction Goods/Passenger machine room and pulley room equipment in its entirety & the design, manufacture, supply & installation of a three stop MRL, Traction, DDA, Single entry, Goods/Passenger Lift.
The Lift Contractor should note that Industrial Services Group (ISG) is a fully operational building and should make every attempt to minimise disruption and inconvenience to staff during this project. We are also proud that ISG is the employer of people with learning difficulties and disabilities, contractors visiting the site should take this into consideration.
Comprehensive lift maintenance shall be provided for a period of 24 months and, until the reliability criteria have been satisfied, will be required on the completion of the install. The lift should be capable of coping with a high usage, minimum of 250,000 runs per year.
The lift shall be serviced monthly for a minimum of 24 months’ warranty inclusive of monthly service visits (12 visits per year) to be completed no less than 21 days apart and no more than 42 days apart.
This will also include a call out response time of up to but not more than 2 hours to all calls excluding trap-ins which will have a response time of up to but not more than1 hour.
