75839 - Leeds South Bank District Heating Network – Detailed Project Development Legal Services

The Council requires a legal services Consultant to undertake all legal work and provide all advice required to secure approval to proceed with the construction of a heat network in the South Bank of Leeds. The Consultant will familiarise themselves with the work done so far by Aecom Ltd on the network in 2022 and note that the Council is now moving from a study that assesses the feasibility of developing a network in the South Bank, to developing detailed project proposals which will form the basis of an application to the Green Heat Network Fund. In addition, the proposals will form the basis of an Executive Board report to be taken to the Council’s senior decision-making body, to secure internal approval for part-funding and delivering the works.
