We write to invite you to a further competition due to be a framework opportunity to provide the contract works or services detailed below at Annex A, which are intended to be procured using the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Modular Building Solutions (MBS) Framework under Lot 1.
Please refer to the enclosed Tender Documents for further details and instructions on how to submit a Tender in relation to the proposed works for City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council .
Please note that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council reserves the right to cancel, amend, clarify, add to or withdraw all or part of this Tender at any time and does not guarantee to award any contract.

Bingley Grammar School – 3 Nr New classroom block. |

13. Brief Description |
An expansion of the Bingley Grammar School has been approved by Executive of City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. As part of the agreed expansion it is proposed to demolish the former swimming pool and construct a new 3 Nr general teaching space Classroom block. The building will accommodate store room, toilets and circulation space with external works, service connections and drainage. Please refer to drawings included within Section 3 of the Tender Documents. The location of the building will be over the former swimming pool building which will be demolished under a separate contract and will be completed prior to the new classroom block contract commencing on-site.
It is anticipated the works will be procured via a JCT Design & Build Contract 2016. The estimated value of the works, including design team fees is £930,000 Exc VAT. Currently a Planning Application and Building Regulations application have yet to be submitted. Upon submission the Local Authority would need to be used in both cases. Please Note: Not subject to this EoI but for information there will also be a requirement for September 2023 to hire a 4 Nr Classroom block, with a separate EoI to be issued via the CCS framework shortly. |
