Sensory Impairment Assessments Service

The Care Act 2014 sets out a number of requirements on local authorities in relation to specialist assessments for those with a sensory impairment (see below). Sheffield City Council is commissioning an external provider to carryout assessments on its behalf. This specification sets out the standards Sheffield City Council expect the provider to work to in order to deliver the specialist assessment service.
