MINI SCHEMES 2002 BATCH 6 – CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING

I would like to invite you to provide a tender based on the attached BOQ’s to carry out the resurfacing schemes as identified in the design, specifications and drawings that accompany this tender.

Please note, given the road closure and traffic management required to carry out this scheme the successful contractor must be able to meet the specified dates on the summary of works document.

All road planings unless otherwise instructed are to be taken to;

You should be aware that Doncaster Council operates a Safety Golden Rules policy and also additional site rules, and comply with the working time directive. A copy of all of these documents have been attached to this tender and must be adhered to at all times without exception. All personnel who attend site must have with them a current / valid CSCS card (or equivalent) – COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE

Tenders must be submitted No later than 12:00 Noon on Thursday 18^th August 2022 via the Council’s electronic tendering System YORtender (YORtender (eu-supply.com) (../../login.asp?B=YORTENDER) Submissions by any other means will not be considered by the Council.

The registration of the works and the necessary traffic management licensing will be arranged by Doncaster Council, but will be based upon the information that the successful tenderer submits following notification of the contract award.

Returned tenders will be evaluated and awarded based on the lowest overall price received (based on the cumulative value of BOQ’s for ALL of the sites) subject to the all other conditions being met as described above and availability to meet the stipulated dates of work.

PLEASE NOTE: THE FORMS OF TENDER DOCUMENT MUST BE RETURNED ALONGSIDE YOUR PRICED BOQ. FAILURE TO RETURN BOTH DOCUMENTS COULD RESULT IN THE TENDER BEEN REJECTED.

Final costs are to be agreed via a final measure upon completion of the works, and will be based on the submitted rates which should take into account the working times, traffic management requirements and any site access restrictions.

The Employer does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender.

It should be borne in mind that all works are to be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions of NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Subcontract.
