The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (The Council) requires one Contractor for:
The complete removal of the existing 2 floor, ground to first floor Terry Concerto platform lift then provide and install a 2 floor platform lift suitable for a wheelchair or pushchair and attendant or less ambulant passengers at Ilkley Town Hall.
The complete removal of the existing low rise adjacent opening platform lift in the entrance of Ilkley Library and supply and install a low rise platform lift suitable for wheelchair or pushchair with attendant or less ambulant standing passenger.
A minimum 24 months’ parts and labour warranty, excluding misuse and vandalism to be included. The Contractor shall visit the installation at intervals of 3 calendar months to undertake the maintenance and servicing work during the warranty period. A minimum 8 services per lift a minimum of 10 weeks apart and a maximum of 14 weeks apart. The service visit should be a minimum of one hour per lift.
All call-outs to be attended within 2 hours. Trap-ins to be attended in a maximum of ONE hour.
Any specialist equipment required will be specified and supplied by the contractor and at no extra cost to Bradford Council.

The Contract will be awarded to one Contractor.
Ilkley Town Hall and Library are fully operational Council buildings and Contractors must make every attempt to minimise disruption and inconvenience to staff and customers during this project.
