CY05975 - NETHERGREEN JUNIOR SCHOOL ROOFING AND ASSOCIATED WORKS

The project comprises the re-roofing and internal water-damage remediation works at Nethergreen Junior School. Works will include the re-roofing of all pitched and flat roof areas including all leadwork. Also, the replacement of select cast iron rainwater goods, localised repointing of stonework including chimney stacks, parapet walls and copings, the replacement of steel framed roof lights and high-level glazing and the refurbishment of existing timber cupolas. Internally lath and plaster ceilings in the Main Hall and plasterboard ceilings within Classrooms will be replaced with new insulated plasterboard with plaster skim finish. Existing lay in grid ceilings will be replaced with new suspended ceilings and new lighting introduced. To enable the works two temporary teaching facilities will be created in the School Hall. Mechanical and electrical services to the temporary teaching spaces will be installed and services to existing rooms will be temporarily disconnected and reinstated.
