From the 1st April 2022 the above mentioned contract will have been in place for another year. As per the Contract Specification -

Annual Price Adjustment

After every 12 months Bradford Council will request all contractors (all main and all reserve) to re-complete Appendix 2 - Pricing Matrix of this tender again and re-submit its most competitive prices for the following 12 months.

Bradford Council will then re-evaluate and re- score the price element for each contractor. Data from this tender process – the scores awarded for the quality part of the submission out of 30% will be added to the new price score out of 70% and the total will be used to re-position each contractor into new rotational positions, meaning a main contractor could become a reserve contractor and vice versa. 

We would like to invite you to re-complete an updated version of the Pricing Matrix and re-submit your most competitive prices. These prices will again be fixed for the following 12 months, from 1st April 2022 subject to the Council accepting any price increases. All contractors are solely responsible for their costs and expenses incurred in connection with both the preparation and re submission of Appendix 2 - Pricing Matrix and any change that may occur in their selection position. 

Please see the attached Pricing Matrix, if you wish to change your prices then please do so in this document, and return along with the completed Form of Tender and Non-collusion certificate document, no later than 12:00 on Friday 11th March 2022, via the YORtender portal.

If we do not receive this before this date and time we will assume that you wish for your existing prices to remain as they are for the next 12 months from 1st April 2023.

If you have any queries, please submit these before 12:00 on Thursday 3rd March 2022, via the YORtender portal. All documents which formed the original contract – as set out in your Award Letter – still apply, the only change to the contract will be if you make any changes to the Pricing Matrix.

Once the Council has re-scored the price element for each contractor, and determined who will be a main contractor and who will be a reserve contractor for the following year,  you will be sent a formal letter regarding this.
