48471 - LSAB Citizen Reference Group

A project to establish and maintain a Citizen Reference Group to enable the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board to involve the local community in its planning (a duty under the the Care Act 2014) This Reference Group is made up of citizens who have experience of safeguarding. The Reference Group will review Board papers; be supported to attend and give feedback at Board meetings; produce summarise and disseminate key messages relating to safeguarding; invite wider feedback from citizens. Advonet will undertake a formal review of progress involving the Citizen Reference Group and Board members at the half-way and end points of this project, and report on this to the Board. Undertake future bespoke additional optional consultations in line with the Board’s priorities, as agreed by both parties.
