UKAEA wishes to engage with potential prime contractors, small and medium enterprises (SME’s) and manufacturers to install a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) benchtop system to enhance its tritium scientific capabilities. Tritium has the highest magnetic moment and hence most sensitive NMR signal of all isotopes. NMR is an excellent, isotope specific, technique for measurement of a range of isotopes of interest for fusion R&D.
