45-22 Liquid Fuels
This framework is for the supply of Liquid Fuels and Ad Blue to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull City Council, North Lincolnshire Council, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation, Humberside Independent Care Association and covers schools within North Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire areas. This framework will run from the 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2026.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of the Liquid Fuels listed below. Such fuels shall be in accordance with the specifications and British Standards shown. The supply and delivery of the fuels shall be in strict accordance with all legislation and regulation governing the storage and distribution of dangerous substances.
LOT 1 – Liquid Fuels
Diesel (BS EN590)
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use in road vehicles Class A1.
Gas Oil (BS EN2869) Class A2
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use in Central Heating burners, Class A2 - Road Gritters
Gas Oil (BS EN2869) Class D
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use in North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Boat.
Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) (BS EN15940)
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use as an Alternative Fuel
Kerosene (BS EN2869)
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use in Heating Systems, Class C2.
Unleaded Petrol (BS EN 228)
(as amended or subsequently amended during the course of this contract)
For use in spark ignition automotive and stationery plant internal combustion engines.
LOT 2 - AdBlue
AUS32 (AdBlue) (Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5%) (ISO 22241 standard)
An initial call of will be made upon the award of the framework for a two (2) year period running from the 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2024, with an option to extend for a further two (2) years until 31st March 2026. This will cover sites within the areas administered by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull City Council, North Lincolnshire Council, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, North Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation, Humberside Independent Care Association and covers schools within North Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire areas.
This framework may be utilised by other local authorities within the Yorkshire and Humber region, as advertised. Any such requirements will be requested as and when the needs arise. All call offs will follow the instructions as outlined within the call off section of this document.
