We are pleased to invite you to tender for the provision of a Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution) and Employee Benefits which covers Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection and a largely off the shelf flexible benefits platform for the management of employee benefits through a single centralised online platform that is customisable to the requirements of the participating consortia member institutions. These requirements are covered under separate lots.
The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit company limited by member guarantee. The primary objective of North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd is “to provide a structure for Higher Education Institutions mutually to secure value for money in matters relating to the procurement of goods and services”. NWUPC is working in conjunction with the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) in the establishment and management of the Framework Agreement. UCEA is the leading voice on employment and reward matters in the UK Higher Education sector, supporting members to be employers of choice through collaboration, advocacy and expert advice. any whose primary objective is ‘to provide a structure for Higher Education Institutions mutually to secure value for money in matters relating to the procurement of goods and services’.
NWUPC has a requirement to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of a Pension Scheme (Defined Contribution) and Employee Benefits. NWUPC is establishing the Framework Agreement as a central purchasing body for itself and Its Members (Other Contracting Bodies (OCB)). NWUPC is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the “Regulations”) on behalf of members of APUC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC. Members referred to in the Notice may also participate in the Framework Agreement.
