RW5/TH/18/46 (2) - Framework Agreement for Clinical Services for Patients Requiring Counselling Services and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (1)

Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust (LCFT) is seeking to appoint one or more suppliers to provide a Clinical Services Framework for Patients Requiring Step 3 Counselling Services (Lot 1) and Step 3 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) (Lot 2). Lancashire Care Foundation Trust provides clinical assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients requiring counselling and CBT as part of its Mindsmatter service. The current LCFT Mindsmatter Team includes cognitive behavioural therapists, counsellors, psychological wellbeing practitioners (who are clinically led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist), employment advisors and on-line counselling and on-line CBT. We are currently implementing a new service model for Mindsmatter for Counselling and CBT Services, centred on shared care arrangements with primary care that will ensure the best outcomes and service sustainability over the long term. Alongside this service transformation, the Trust is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to undertake specialist work with patients requiring Step 3 Counselling and/or Step 3 CBT, in order to improve waiting times.
