Project Objectives a) To review the existing evidence base including the previous Regulation 18 stage Viability Assessment prepared by SDH Planning and Development b) To review the relevant Regulation 18 stage submitted representations c) To prepare a sound and robust viability evidence base to inform the Regulation 19 and Submission stages of the Cherwell Local Plan 2042 in compliance with the latest Government guidance including the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Policy Guidance d) To inform policy decisions to set planning policy requirements. e) Testing the cumulative impact of policies in the emerging Local Plan Review 2042 and assess their effect on the viability of development in Cherwell alongside policy requirements. f) Preparing timely and robust evidence with clear and justified recommendations and conclusions which adheres to the Council’s required Local Plan production timetable including a Autumn/Winter 2024-2025 public consultation. g) Reviewing the viability related representations received in response to the Regulation 19 public consultation of the Cherwell District Local Plan 2042 h) If required potentially preparing further viability evidence and attending the Examination in Public of the Local Plan if required and this should be costed separately.
