The Police and Crime Commissioner would like to commission a new project to support offenders facing complex needs to provide practical support and a supported Out of Court intervention using a holistic approach. This could include but is not limited to, offenders experiencing mental health issues, grief, gambling, chaotic substance use or being a victim of crime themselves. These offenders would not be eligible for support in the Women-Specific Conditional Cautions project. The Police and Crime Commissioner is also keen to explore a specific Out of Court disposal for assaults against emergency workers. The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire (PCC) now wishes to consult formally with potential providers with experience, to help inform the PCC’s upcoming procurement exercise, currently planned for early 2024
