The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire (The Authority) has a requirement to source a compliant solution allowing officers and staff access to the national Child Abuse Image Database (CAID). This is a further competition via the ICT VAR Framework and will apply the terms of this Framework. The Authority requires the complete refurbishment and upgrading of its current facilities to allow them to access the national CAID systems. The successful supplier shall be required to work with all relevant stakeholders involved in the CAID provision; and supply, install and maintain equipment and associated software as required by the national CAID program. The supplier will enable the Authority’s CAID operations by fulfilling ongoing support obligations. The supplier is required to provide consistent resource to undertake regular duties using the installed solution on Warwickshire Police premises. The installed solution will be used by several user groups including Online Sexual Exploitation Teams (OCSET), Digital Media Investigator (DMI), Cybercrime and Victim ID consisting of approximately 12 staff roles. The successful supplier will be providing technical ICT support to these roles ensuring the continued operation of our CAID solution.
