CPA SPU 1666F - Redecoration of Existing Cladding at Lymm & Alsager Fire Stations

Cheshire Fire service are looking to redecorate all Larch cladding to Alsager and Lymm Fire Stations to ensure a 3 year guarantee is achieved. Management to the houses. Lymm Fire Station had pre-treated cladding and framing applied as a design feature when constructed circa 2016. Since then no decoration or treatment has been applied to the framing and cladding and the total area is showing signs of breakdown. Alsager Fire Station, the cladding has severely silvered and is in need of general repairs including fixing back boards etc. A sample of wood stain, type and colour, will be required for approval in advance of any works. All works to be carried out in accordance with attached manufacturer’s specification. The requirement is to have the works to the above properties completed before end of September 2021.
