WMP0334 - Provision of an Alcohol Related Violence Out of Court Disposal Scheme, and an Alcohol and Domestic Abuse Intervention Scheme
The Contract, which will be divided into two lots is for the provision of: 1. An Alcohol/Violence Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for offenders who commit acts of physical or verbal violence against either persons or property, whilst under the influence of alcohol; and to provide basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the underlying aggressive behaviour it triggers, and 2. An Alcohol and Domestic Abuse (DA) Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for low level Domestic Abuse offenders, both intimate partner and wider family members, where the offences committed are triggered / exacerbated by consumption of alcohol. The intervention will integrate basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the abusive behaviour.
