2017-1622B Fire Safety Work - Fire safety upgrade works across the force Estate.

The objectives/deliverables are to upgrade the fire safety measures in accordance with the recommendations set out in the property fire risk assessment reports (FRA). The purpose of the FRA report is to meet regulatory standards to ensure buildings are safe to work in. The FRA report reviews and recommendations have been converted into a specification for tender and engagement with a contractor to carry out the works, ensuring all buildings are fire safety compliant in light of the Grenfell tragedy. Subject to the tender exercise a contract start date of October 2018 is anticipated with a completion date of August 2019 for the entire building portfolio of approximately 50 sites.
