AFRS11-2017-12 - Cultural Review

The Authority requires a cultural review of all of its 842 members of staff, along with 25 members of the Fire Authority, to be undertaken. It therefore wishes to commission an external provider to carry out the work in relation to this review. The methodology shall begin with an initial survey questionnaire to canvass the views and opinions of the whole organisation, which will then be followed by a set of workshops/focus groups designed to further explore the underlying reasons behind the most significant issues identified from the survey process. The service provider shall produce a formal report following the completion of the workshops/focus groups, using the feedback and information gained from the survey questionnaire and the workshops/focus groups, clearly explaining the current status of the organisation’s culture. Also the Service provider will be required to provide an action plan containing recommendations to support the delivery of improvement across key areas highlighted in the report.
