T253/03/17 - Supply of Firearms Coveralls

To enable the Constabulary to carry out this role, officers’ must be trained in the use of firearms in line with the ACPO Manual of Guidance on the Police use of Firearms and the National Police Firearms Training curriculum. This training is delivered at several internal and external locations throughout the UK by nationally qualified CNC firearms instructors. The purpose of this document is to set out, in simple terms, the user requirement for the Firearms Coveralls to be worn as PPE protection. • A unisex one piece garment with an elasticised waist. • Also to be available as a two piece coverall for both male and female To be available in a variety of sizes and Special Measure.
