Merseyside Police is reviewing its current Professional Development Review (PDR) process and is looking to procure an electronic evidenced based PDR system for all officers and staff. The PDR process must be completed on the anniversary of joining date or on the date of/following promotion and is in line with the College of Policing Professional Development Programme recommendations with the following key elements: • A behavioural competency framework – recommending that all forces use the Policing Professional Framework (PPF) • An element of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) • A method for confirming satisfactory performance on an annual basis • A method for managing Talent Management • A 360 degree appraisal system
