C002275 - Purchase of Light Portable Pumps with Couplings and Outlets for West Midlands Fire & Rescue Authority

West Midlands Fire & Rescue Authority (WMFRA) is tendering for up to 38 petrol driven light portable pumps (LPP) with coupling and a single screw down discharge outlet. An initial 19 pumps with couplings/outlets to be purchased in financial year 2016/17 and the option to purchase up to an additional 19 in 2017/18 at the Authority’s discretion. The LPP is to be designed for operational discharging and salvage operations. Please note servicing and replacement parts must be capable of being carried out by suitably qualified brigade workshops staff without the need of special tools or equipment. It is essential that the Authority can service the LPP themselves and that parts are readily available for order.
