A0292 - The provision of specialist disposal of controlled drugs

Greater Manchester Police has a requirement for the incineration of all types of drugs including the disposal of cannabis. Due to the lack of storage facilities within the Force, drugs will need to be disposed of as and when required. The consignment will be transported directly to the incinerator by GMP, where the drugs will be weighed and then incinerated. Destruction by incineration will be witnessed by GMP officers. The contract will be for a period of 2 year with the option to extend for 1+1 year
