NWP/ 22831 CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF A FORCEWIDE NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH ONLINE MANAGEMENT DATABASE TO NORTH WALES POLICE (NWP). THE CONTRACT IS FOR 1 YEAR COMMENCING 1ST MAY 2016 WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR A FURTHER 3 YEARS IN PERIODS NOT EXCEEDING 12 MONTHS. North Wales Police are looking to implement a FORCEWIDE NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH ONLINE MANAGEMENT DATABASE based on a crime alert and crime prevention messaging tool for community members which administers traditional Watch schemes such as Neighbourhood and wider type schemes such as Farm, Rural, Business, Church or School for example. It is a system that has been proven to invigorate and promote involvement in various types of Watch schemes which should include a ‘community messaging service’ for people who do not wish to be part of a Watch-type scheme. The System must be fully bi-lingual and capable of meeting the technical requirements detailed in the specification. Only those suppliers thatcan fully meet the requirements of the specification will be considered.
