The servcice provider will be expected to provide; An ageless support service for all victims of sexual offences (including FGM), offering counselling, advocacy and bespoke care packages - where necessary this must be supported by interpreter services to enable access to support. Advocacy and counselling for victims of historical cases of sexual offences – where necessary this must be supported by interpreter services to enable access to support. Awareness raising for parents/guardians regarding the behaviours which perpetrators display and also characteristics/behaviours displayed by abused children. Awareness raising for the public about FGM and its impacts similar to campaigns around domestic abuse and HIV awareness. Innovative approaches to encourage reporting and engagement with support services regardless of the process of related criminal proceedings. Work in partnership with, receive referrals from, and make referrals to, other specialised support services e.g. Sexual Assault Referral Centre, housing services, health services, target hardening services etc. to ensure the additional needs of any victims are met and the impact of victimisation is addressed. Other innovative services that you believe may improve services for victims of sexual offences. Provision of emergency contraception for victims where necessary.
